Hello GHN Career Network Members,
You are invited to join us for our Get Hired Now! Career Network Mastermind Group Call – TUESDAY 1/19/21 at 5 p.m. PT
The topic this week:
The Work of Byron Katie and how to question your beliefs
Presentation by Coach Todd Hess
Like a seed that grows into a beautiful tree or a small wind that turns into a storm, a thought can create something beautiful or a single thought can develop into something that causes distress, outrage, suffering, or any other discomfort.
The Work of Byron Katie looks at those negative thoughts that create discomfort in our lives.
Whether it is about a boss who you say wronged you in some way, a spouse that doesn’t treat you like you want them to, or a teammate who doesn’t get their job done as you would like them.
While all of these examples may be true, learning how to question our beliefs brings clarity into the situation which frees our mind up for solutions and a greater focus on what matters.
Join us this Tuesday as Coach Todd Hess will walk you through what The Work of Bryon Katie is and how you can take a journey from discomfort to independent self-inquiry.
Bio for Todd Hess
I focus on developing people through coaching by incorporating the simple practice of The Work of Byron Katie, where one learns to question their stressful thoughts. When we question these thoughts of anger, stress, or sadness the grip loses power over us and we discover our truer selves.
I am a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and received my certification through the Coaching Leadership Program at Saint Joseph’s University where I also received a Master of Science in Organization Development and Leadership. I am also certified in coaching The Work of Byron Katie as taught by the Clarity Coaching Institute.
An HR Executive with 15 years’ experience leading Organizational Development and Leadership Coaching functions to help companies like Castlight Health, eBay, CallTower, Vivint SmartHome, and NICE inContact to improve management skills, employee performance, retention, and revenue growth.
I have been passionate about developing people and ensuring organizational health across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
We look forward to seeing you on our Mastermind Group call!
